Exterior

Exterior painting & decorating

Masonry, render, fascias and exterior woodwork, prepared for the weather and finished to protect your home as well as smarten it.

Painted house frontage with a porch, front door and sash windows

Exterior decorating is as much about protection as appearance. Done properly, it shields render, brick and timber from the British weather while lifting your home’s whole frontage.

We work to the seasons, prepare surfaces thoroughly and use coatings suited to each material, so the finish stays sound through wind, rain and sun.

Preparation & standards

Built to stand up to the weather

Exterior surfaces take a beating, so the prep has to be right before anything goes on:

  1. Surfaces cleaned down and any growth treated
  2. Loose, flaking material removed and made good
  3. Cracks in render and masonry filled and stabilised
  4. Bare timber and metal primed appropriately
  5. Weather-durable masonry and trim coatings applied
Why it matters

Kerb appeal that also protects

A well-decorated exterior is the first thing anyone sees, and the first line of defence against the weather. We aim for both: a frontage that looks cared-for and a finish that earns its keep.
